Staff The Villa Maria Louisa makes a nice first impression. It consisted of one egg, one small piece of luncheon meat, and rice, along with a choice of either powdered juice or powdered 3-in-1 coffee. The hotel advertises internet in the lobby area on their website and on agoda. there is NO INTERNET at this hotel. I thought maybe it would be up in a few minutes, so I asked the front desk when it would be back online. In almost 6 straight months of staying in hotels in the philippines, that was a first for me. It was laughable. It has a very nice big lobby with a view outward to the ocean. When i walked in, there was a sign saying "internet temporarily unavailable". A few things I did not like about this hotel are as follows: The included breakfast was by far the most miserly I have received while in the Philippines. My room was not made up It was already 6pm. I called down to the front desk, and they informed me that they only make up rooms if the customer tells them to do so ahead of time. Perhaps they think they do not have to be at their best to attract customers.
